On February 28, 2020, the Georgia Brownfields Association (GBA) sponsored a sold out workshop on the Georgia Division of Environmental Protection’s (Ga EPD) new soil-to-groundwater leaching guidance.
Stephen B. Ellingson, Ph.D., presented five practical approaches to assess the leaching pathway. He distributed user-friendly tools for the workshop participants to assist with their own assessments.
Also presenting were David Hayes, manager of Ga EPD’s Voluntary
Remediation Unit and Len Diprima, Executive Vice President at United Consulting.
